Senior Data Manager
This role is for our client in the insurance industry and is crucial in organizing and analyzing diverse data sources to provide meaningful measurable and actionable insights that support the Global Operations team in achieving its strategic goals. The successful candidate will manage the availability quality and constraints of internal systems and thirdparty data helping business users make informed datadriven decisions. Curiosity and a deep understanding of the broader business context are essential to excel in this role.

Responsibilities:
DataDriven Strategic Recommendations (30%): Provide actionable data insights to the Global Operations Strategy team formulating strategies to drive longterm business value. Collaborate closely with teams maintaining communication throughout the reporting process and champion the adoption of new tools and techniques to enhance analytics capabilities.
Data Management Expertise (50%): Lead data validation consolidation and cleansing efforts addressing data quality issues and improving the efficiency of data processes. Drive innovation in data management automate processes and work with business partners to transform requests into valuable deliverables.
Ad Hoc Reporting and Analytics (20%): Develop visualizations reports and dashboards to support strategic initiatives ensuring data effectively measures the success of Global Operations. Promote business intelligence tool adoption and align reporting with key stakeholders.
What you will need to succeed:
University degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics Science Engineering Computer Science).
5 years of experience in data analytics data mining or statistics.
Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Qlikview).
Experience with analysis packages and programming languages such as SQL R Python and/or SAS.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the confidence to engage with executives and senior management.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities capable of presenting complex information concisely.
Ability to work independently taking ownership of key analytical projects with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and collaborate effectively with internal clients and vendors.
Knowledge of Big Data platforms and tools (e.g. Hadoop Spark) is a plus.
Ability to evaluate the feasibility and practicality of ideas taking a balanced risk approach.
Comfortable working under pressure in highstakes environments.
