Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter seeking a fresh opportunity Talent Vision 360 is working with a prominent Western Australian engineering firm to confidentially recruit talented Mechanical Fitters for fulltime positions. These roles involve both local and occasional remote work within the naval commercial ship repair and industrial sectors.

Primary Duties:

• Perform mechanical maintenance services with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  
• Carry out maintenance and repairs on gearboxes pumps valves heat exchangers conveyor systems compressors diesel engines and bearings.
  
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed safely and effectively.
  
• Identify potential safety risks and take corrective actions as needed.
  
• Meet safety environmental quality and production goals to support the success of naval repair projects.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Possession of a White Card (CSAT).
  
• Ability to meet fitness requirements and pass drug and alcohol screenings.
  
• Proven experience in both sitebased and workshop duties.
  
• Willingness to work overtime during the week and on weekends when required.
  
• Valid WA Drivers License.
  
• Trade qualification in mechanical fitting.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in marine defense and commercial sectors.
  
• Eligibility to obtain access to military facilities.
  
• Rigger/dogging certification.
  
• Forklift license.
  
• Confined Space certification.
  
• Working at Heights certification.
  
• Elevated Work Platform certification.
