Job Description

Our client world leader in life sciences and medical diagnostics is looking for Histology Associate based out of Tucson AZ. Kindly look at the details below and let me know your interest regarding the same.


Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension)

Pay Rate: $22.75/hr on W2


Need people who have worked in histology and have cut and stained human patient samples in a clinical environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Grossing clinical samples without direct supervision of a pathologist.
  • Processing and embedding clinical samples.
  • Microtomy of clinical samples as required to meet the terms of the client.
  • Staining IHC dual IHC ISH dual ISH assays H&E s.
  • Documentation of work and traceability associated with clinical studies.
  • Instrument maintenance.
  • Using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to capture workflows.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned including but not limited to creating cell blocks from cell lines FNA s frozen sectioning bone marrow preps Decalcification and other esoteric histological techniques.
