UXUI Intern Remote

Please note that this position is anunpaidremote role forsix months requires a commitment of20 hours per week and is eligible for college credit.

Qualifications:

• Must be presently enrolled and in good standing with a graduate or undergraduate degree program with a focus on public health clinical/health informatics healthcare standards and interoperability data science/analytics health policy human factors engineering and/or pursing a clinical degree with course work in informatics policy or acquisitions.
• Familiarity with healthcare public health and scientific terminology.
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical informatics systems or clinical data.
• Demonstrated understanding of the healthcare industry clinical roles and government or private healthcare organizations.
• Ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability usefulness and exceptional visual design.
• Proficient user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our various digital assets

Responsibilities:

UX/UI

• Develop creative digital solutions to communication challenges.
• Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce DiscoverU Health brand voice through its visual touchpoints.
• Preserve the integrity of DiscoverU Healths brand guidelines by advising staff on best practices for website materials and email design/structure.
• Ensure assets are consistent and compatible across various devices.
• Implement best practices and innovations for email social media mobile and web.
• Investigate user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets.
• Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
• Produce highquality UX design solutions through wireframes visual and graphic designs flow diagrams storyboards site maps and prototypes.
• Use UX/UI design skills to refresh DiscoverU Health related websites.
• Closely collaborate across internal teams to solve complex issues like data visualization.
• Juggle multiple projects while effectively managing timelines and expectations.
