Salary: $175K$205K 20% Bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the plant ensuring production schedules are met and highquality standards are maintained
- Leadership and Development: Lead mentor and develop a diverse team of managers and staff fostering a culture of teamwork accountability and continuous improvement
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure the plant operates in compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards promoting a safe and healthy work environment
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the plant budget control costs and ensure efficient use of resources to meet financial objectives
- Continuous Improvement: Implement and sustain Lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet or exceed customer expectations and quality standards through robust quality control processes
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the companys goals and objectives
- Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of materials and products
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including customers suppliers and regulatory bodies
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Business Management or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record of plant turnarounds and managing 300 people in a Union Facility
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of successfully managing a manufacturing plant
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership and teambuilding skills within a turnaround facility
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and controlling costs
- Exceptional problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with all levels of the organization
