About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dynamic Tax Manager to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role youll be responsible for managing a diverse tax portfolio providing strategic tax guidance and preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns. Youll also play a pivotal role in filing business individual and related tax forms engaging in various research projects and driving innovation in tax management. Your Mission and Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversee staff who assist with the preparation of returns.
• Maintain and enhance client and staff relationships.
• Prepare and review business and individual tax returns.
• Provide tax planning and projections for clients.
• Conduct research on tax issues and offer process improvement recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of changes in tax law and educate others within the firm.
• Stay updated on changes in tax law by reading professional literature or attending tax seminars and training courses.
• Consult with clients to develop a basic understanding of their financial affairs and the scope of their tax liabilities.
• Respond to client calls and emails in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients regulators and industry organizations.
• Share expertise on industry knowledge trends and best practices within the firm.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
• CPA or EA certification (open to JD candidates).
• At least 8 full busy seasons of experience in tax preparation and review.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams Excel Word and Outlook
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• General proficiency with Microsoft Teams Excel Word and Outlook.
• Ability to learn from previous experiences and apply knowledge to future assignments.
• Strong communication skills with staff and clients.
• Capability to manage and develop new staff members.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.

Requirements:

• Must be a United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
