Area General Manager Food & Nutrition Hospitals & Healthcare Experience
Position Description:
We are currently seeking an Experienced Area General Manager for our Food & Beverage Unit. (Hospitals).
You will oversee all Contract Management Services and will Supervise Managers to lead the daily operations for our food team at our Hospital Center located in the Washington DC area.
General Manager Food & Nutrition leadership experience in a healthcare environment.

Position Summary
- You will Direct all contract management service operations at a single account/unit.
- You will maintain customer satisfaction and good public relations.
- Customer focused Customer Centric
- You will manage through managers and be accountable for the contract. Seniormost person assigned to an account may have multiple clients and/or satellite locations.
- You will provide local leadership and strategic direction while developing a team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the daytoday operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directs all contract services.
- Oversees management/administrative team who are responsible for special functions cash control financials and payroll.

Basic Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business Finance Accounting or related 4year degree.
- Must have Strong Leadership and Management Experience Must Have 5 to 10 years of Leadership and mentoring experience.
- Must Have 5 to 10 years of Operations Distribution and warehousing experience.
- Must have 5 years in Food Service Management.
- Experience managing in a union environment.
- Experience in client relationships and strong financial acumen.
- General Manager Food & Nutrition leadership experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience in a hospital with a 500bed minimum
- Experience in managing teams that are responsible for special financial functions cash control and payroll.
- Experience in Financial management.
- Experience in Delivering highquality food service.
- Basic Functional Operations Finance and Building Client Relationships 5 years of experience
- Food Service Experience
- Working knowledge of Food Management Systems (FMS) and/or Market Connections (MSC) is a Plus.
