About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dynamic Tax Accountant to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role youll work directly with the tax department handling a variety of clients including individuals businesses notforprofit organizations trusts and various other entities. If youre passionate about tax accounting and have a knack for managing complex tax returns we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

• Tax Preparation: Prepare individual corporate and partnership tax returns.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients to gather supporting documents and provide innovative tax planning.
• Team Supervision: Supervise members of the tax team to ensure accurate completion of tax returns and resolve any issues.
• Tax Law Monitoring: Stay updated on legislative and regulatory tax law developments communicate the effects to the team and develop strategies to capitalize on changes.

What You Bring:

• Education: BS/BA in Accounting (Masters in Accounting/Tax preferred).
• Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in Public Accounting with expertise in preparing individual and closely held businesses and passthru (S Corp and Partnership) tax returns.
• Skills: Excellent project management analytical interpersonal oral and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Professional Growth: A desire to continue growing professionally with the ability to communicate pertinent information to partners managers and clients.

Bonus Points For:

• CPA License or Candidate
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Experience with highnetworth individual and multistate tax returns
• Experience preparing exempt organization tax returns

Additional Requirements:

• Must be a United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
