Tax Administrator

Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology Finance and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Rochester NY in search of a talented Tax Administrator.

Job Summary:

The Tax Administrator will be primarily responsible for timely and accurately processing all incoming tax correspondence managing property tax invoices and providing overall support for the tax team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive identify and sort all incoming tax mail
• Monitor track receipt prepare payment and store notices and property tax bills
• Maintain electronic filing systems in alignment with company policies and procedures
• Efile sales and use returns ensuring all filings are done on a timely basis
• Generate taxrelated forms such as W9 and exemptions certificate requests
• Maintain customer tax exemption records ensuring accuracy and completeness

Qualifications:

• Degree or Certificate in accounting finance or related field (preferred)
• 2 years experience in similar role

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Selfstarter with both independent and team collaboration capabilities
• Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
• Must be flexible and accountable when there are approaching deadlines
