Position Overview:
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for overseeing the companys technology strategy and operations. This executive role involves leading the development and implementation of technology initiatives that drive operational efficiency product innovation and competitive advantage in the manufacturing sector. The CTO will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure that technology investments align with business goals and support the companys longterm vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the companys business objectives and drives innovation in manufacturing processes and product development.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to leverage technology to enhance manufacturing processes improve product quality and reduce costs.
- Digital Transformation: Drive the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies including automation IoT AI and machine learning to optimize manufacturing operations and supply chain management.
- Cybersecurity: Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect the companys digital assets intellectual property and manufacturing systems.
- Leadership: Lead mentor and manage the technology team fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Budget Management: Manage the technology budget ensuring costeffective investment in technology solutions that deliver measurable business value.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with other executives department heads and external partners to align technology initiatives with business needs and market demands.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure technology practices comply with industry regulations standards and best practices while mitigating risks associated with technology investments.
- Product Development: Oversee the design development and deployment of new products and technologies ensuring they meet market needs and quality standards.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging technology trends and assess their potential impact on the companys manufacturing processes and products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Chief Technology Officer VP of Technology or similar leadership role in the manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing technologies including automation robotics IoT and AI.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in driving digital transformation and implementing Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Excellent leadership communication and project management skills.
- Strategic thinking and ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Experience in managing technology budgets and resources.
