Job Description

Position : Staffing Coordinator

Client : Polaris Home Care

Website :

Working Hours : Friday 2pm to 11pm Saturday 7am to 7pm Sunday 7am to 7pm and Monday 2pm to 11pm; PST timezone; 4 day work schedule

Salary Range : $(depends on cdd's expertise)

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing schedules of our caregiver roster to match their availability to incoming or existing clients
  • Identifying the best caregiver match for a client based off experience personality and other requested criteria by the client and caregivers
  • Providing oversight for caregiver performance management to assure that all standards are being met and protocols are being followed
  • Performing recruitment of caregivers through job boards and internal resources to maintain a steady stream of applicants and incoming care staff to support or sales and marketing team
  • Regularly updates clients and caregivers whenever there is a change of schedule or care plan
  • Promptly responds to schedule change requests by caregivers or clients to fill shifts as needed
  • Assists in taking referrals by phone or email and coordinating assessments with our sales and marketing team
  • Takes inbound calls from our office line as scheduled and routing calls to the appropriate contact
  • Assisting to make sure all compliance items are being maintained and updated as needed for all caregivers through our HR platform
  • Ensuring proper orientation and completion of caregiving staffing with company scheduling and training platforms

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred
  • Previous customer success or customer service experience preferred
  • 1 year of healthcare related experience (preferred/helpful)
  • Complete a background check
  • Ability to multitask and manage your time efficiently
  • Proficiency in using a computer and updating systems diligently
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to problem solve and diffuse situations with disgruntled customers or employees
  • Ability communicate clearly; lots of clients are hard of hearing; minimum accent because clients are hard of hearing
  • Tools: Google Workspace (other tools needed will be trained by the client)
  • Ability to navigate through conflict and not getting upset quickly
