Job Description
Our valuable client in the Manufacturing sector is seeking a Structural Design Manager. In this role you will champion the structural design process ensuring seamless integration of various services while prioritising our clients' requirements.
They are committed to becoming the industry's most efficient offsite manufacturing firm. They focus on marrying topoftherange digital practices with bestinclass practical experience. This technical and practical expertise is fused with a firstinkind robotic installation methodology.
They aim to lead the construction industry efficiently setting new benchmarks for innovation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. ClientCentric Design: Lead the structural design team to develop multiservice modules prioritising our client's needs and preferences.
2. Special Coordination: Oversee the integration of diverse services within modular structures including HVAC electrical plumbing and more ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
3. Technical Experience: Provide expert guidance in structural secondary steel design leveraging your expertise to deliver innovative solutions that exceed client expectations.
4. Project Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project managers GCs other Subcontractors engineers architects and other stakeholders to coordinate design activities and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
5. Quality Assurance: Implement stringent quality control measures to uphold the integrity and reliability of structural designs conducting thorough reviews and assessments to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
6. CostEffective Solutions: Work diligently to optimise designs for cost efficiency without compromising quality or performance seeking opportunities for value engineering and innovative solutions.
7. Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients actively soliciting feedback and addressing concerns to ensure their satisfaction throughout the design process.
8. Team Leadership: Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and excellence within the design team providing mentorship and guidance to support their professional growth and development.
Requirements:
• Experience with structural engineering and steel fabrication
• Experience in BIM and Design management
• Experience in offsite manufacture
