Research Scientist

CK Group are recruiting for a Research Scientist, to join a global pharmaceutical company, based in Slough on a contract basis initially for 12 months.

 
Salary:

Hourly: £20.03 PAYE or £27.27 via Umbrella.


Research Scientist Role:

• Provide bioanalytical and biomarker assay support for non-clinical and clinical phases of drug development.
• Be involved in the development, optimisation and validation of ligand binding assays / immunoassays for biomarkers and gene therapy targets.
• Present your data at multi-disciplinary project team meetings.
• Transfer of methods to external partners may also be expected.

 
Your Background:

• Candidates should have a BSc, MSc or PhD in a biological discipline, or equivalent working experience.
• Proven experience running ligand binding assays/immunoassays (e.g. ELISA, MSD, ELLA, Gyros, Singulex, Simoa/Quanterix).
• Experience in a bioanalytical laboratory in a biotech or pharmaceutical drug discovery and development environment.
