Position Title:

Junior Estimator / Project Admin Support

Location: Remote Philippines (Client Offshore Australia)

Department: Commercial Roofing

Reports To: Senior Estimator / Roofing Manager / General Manager

Position Summary:

The Junior Estimator / Project Support person will assist in the preparation and management of roofing project estimates quotes and submissions. This role involves detailed material takeoffs pricing and variation breakdowns as well as managing project files and supplier communications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Bluebeam software for projectspecific markups and will support lead generation and followup activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving Tender Invitations: Create job numbers set up job folders and download all relevant documentation.

Roofing Material TakeOffs: Accurately measure and calculate the quantities of materials required for roofing projects.

Quoting: Prepare detailed and competitive quotes for roofing projects.

Variation Breakdowns & Pricing: Analyze and price variations to the original scope of work.

Preparation of Submissions: Compile and prepare all necessary documentation for project submissions.

Quote Preparation: Develop and finalize quotes for clients ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Supplier Quote Requests: Request and manage quotes from suppliers for materials and services.

Project File Management: Maintain organized and uptodate project files and documentation.

ProjectSpecific MarkUps: Use Bluebeam software to create detailed markups for project plans and documents.

FollowUp & Lead Generation: Support the sales team by following up on leads and generating new business opportunities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: High school cert diploma or equivalent; additional education in the construction sector or related field is a plus.

Experience: Previous experience in estimating or project support preferably in the commercial roofing industry.

Skills:

Proficiency in Bluebeam software.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Selfmotivated & show initiative.

Be able to work autonomously.
