Controls Engineer

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing a new controls system within a stateoftheart facility. Our company currently in Series D funding and in the late stages of its startup phase is developing a $1 billion processing and manufacturing plant set to launch within the next two years. You will be at the forefront of building a dedicated process control team starting with designing the control system. Your responsibilities will include working with vendors on system delivery overseeing SAT/FAT processes and managing installation commissioning and startup of the facility. After the plant is operational you will continue to play a critical role in ongoing process control and potentially lead similar projects at future sites.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field (other engineering degrees with relevant experience will be considered).
  
• 3 years of inplant process control programming and troubleshooting experience. While 10 years is ideal less experience may be considered.
  
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV control systems is required.
  
• Background in a manufacturing environment preferably in chemicals pharmaceuticals petrochemicals refining pulp & paper or a closely related industry.
