Job Description

We are hiring a Staff Nurse Outpatients for a Private Hospital in Cork Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the outpatients team give all patients direct care while gaining and refining the specialized knowledge and abilities necessary to address the demands of this patient population
- As a member of the multidisciplinary team you will collaborate with other nurses to provide and uphold the highest standards of patient care at all times. You will also help colleagues as needed.
Requirements
- Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI.
- A minimum 12 months post qualification experience preferably in the surgical setting.
- A minimum 12 months experience working in an acute hospital.
- Willing to obtain a Certificate in Urodynamics.
- This is a Full time position and requires you to work 39 hours per week.
- Assists with all procedures performed Outpatients Department including Urodynamics.
- Provide clinical management and independent care for Urodynamics Uroflows reporting of results to consultants for interpretation.
- Provides clinical care and education for the patient with catheter changes self catheterisation and trial without catheter.
