About the Role
The Senior Executive ATL will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the organizations media
presence across various platforms including radio television and print.
This position requires a strategic thinker with:
  1. Strong media relations
  2. Deep understanding of communication strategies to effectively convey the organizations message to the public and key stakeholders.
  3. Ability to schedule and optimize media for results

Main tasks & responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies to promote the organizations initiatives and objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media contacts including journalists editors and producers.
  • Pitch and secure media coverage for organizational events announcements and campaigns.
  • Monitor media coverage and analyze results to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage media compliance and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate media scheduling and placements to maximize visibility and reach.
  • Prepare press releases media kits and other materials to support media outreach efforts.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization and handle media inquiries and interviews.
  • Provide media training and support to internal stakeholders including executives and subject matter experts.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to inform media strategies and tactics.
  • Understanding of digital marketing

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in journalism Communications Media Studies or related field added advantage.
  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing or business related field.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 56 years of experience in media relations journalism or related field.
  • Experience in Digital Marketing & Ecommerce
  • Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role is preferred.
  • Experience in an agency setting will be an added advantage.
  • Additional certifications in Public Relations or Communications will be an advantage.

Knowledge:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the media landscape including current trends key players and regulatory frameworks.
  • Understanding of audience demographics and behavior across various media channels.
  • Familiarity with media compliance regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in media scheduling and tracking software.
  • Knowledge of digital media platforms and social media management.
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing & Ecommerce
