Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Engineer who can drive the development and delivery of highimpact projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development a deep understanding of web technologies and the ability to work effectively within a crossfunctional team. The team is looking for someone who is not only technically proficient but also demonstrates strong problemsolving and analytical abilities along with effective communication and collaboration skills.

What does the job involve

• Development deployment and maintenance of complex software systems and services.
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to define design and deliver new features and enhancements.
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks security vulnerabilities and other technical issues.
• Staying uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
• Participating in the hiring process to attract and retain top engineering talent.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (beneficial but not required).
• Experience in the fintech industry or with payment processing systems.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements (e.g. PCI DSS).
• Experience with machine learning and data analytics.
• High level of initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
