Position Summary: The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our clients manufacturing company. This position is responsible for analyzing financial data preparing reports and providing insights to management to aid in decisionmaking processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights into business performance.
- Prepare financial reports forecasts and budgets to support strategic planning.
- Cost Analysis:
- Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing cost reduction strategies and optimizing operational efficiency.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast and provide explanations for variances.
- Capital Expenditure Analysis:
- Evaluate capital investment proposals and perform financial modeling to assess their impact on profitability.
- Provide recommendations for capital expenditure decisions based on financial analysis.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.
- AdHoc Analysis:
- Perform adhoc financial analysis and projects as requested by management.
- Support decisionmaking processes by providing timely and accurate financial information.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
