Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Organize and update financial records as needed (digital) for tax purposes.
  • Deliver operating efficiencies through XERO XERO Tax MYOB Quickbooks
  • Manage and execute Annual Tax Returns for SMEs (Pty Ltd trusts partnerships traders)
  • Manage and execute Annual Annual Financial Statements for SMEs (Pty Ltd trusts partnerships traders)
  • Monthly Management Reports
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare management accounts.General accounting procedures and other ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or any relevant field.
  • At least 57 years of experience as Accountant or similar role in Australian Tax accounting industry.
  • Extensive hands on experience in end to end Austalian public practice business services experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies trusts partnerships.
  • Experience in SMSF is preferable.
  • Outstanding working knowledge on GST BAS IAS & other compliance related function
  • Excellent knowledge on MS Office and in various and accounting software
  • Substantial proficiency in MYOB XERO XERO Tax Quickbooks BGL 360
  • Great English (written and verbal) communication skills

Additional Job Details:

Setup and Location: Officebased (Ortigas Alabang Pampanga or Cebu)
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEDT) 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH Time)
Employment Type: Fulltime

Minimum 7+ years of relevant Australian general accounting experience. Experience supporting clients in the manufacturing industry is a nice-to-have. Excellent written and verbal English business communication skills. With great initiative to contribute to both professional and company advancement Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability in various accounting software, including MYOB EXO and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable. Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant field, CPA or Chartered Accountant is an advantage. Knowledgeable of BAS requirements incl. GST, PAYGW, FTC, etc. Ability to deal with inter-company scenarios. Expert in basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices. Demonstrated ability to develop and retain effective client relationships. Knowledge of bookkeeping solutions and Microsoft Office, i.e., Excel, Outlook. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to mentor/train accountants. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize. Very keen attention to detail and high levels of initiative.
