Supply Chain Planning Manager

Job Summary:
Milele is seeking a seasoned and strategic Demand Planning Manager to lead our Demand Planning Department. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 5 professionals ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of demand planning processes. This role requires a strong blend of analytical functional and technical skills and leadership capabilities to drive the department toward achieving business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead mentor and develop a team of 5 demand planning professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and highperformance team culture.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

2. Demand Planning and Forecasting:

• Develop and implement robust demand planning processes.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to generate accurate demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with sales marketing and finance teams to align demand forecasts with business objectives.

3. Inventory Management:

• Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand effectively.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess stock and stockouts.

4. ERP System Management:

• Oversee using ERP systems (Oracle SAP Microsoft) for demand planning activities.
• Ensure data accuracy and system integrity.

5. Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to create comprehensive reports and dashboards.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends risks and opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

6. Process Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and improve demand planning processes.
  Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

7. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless demand planning operations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in supply chain management Business Administration or a related
field. A masters degree or professional certification (e.g. APICS CPIM) is a plus.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in demand planning supply chain management or a related field.
• Proven experience in a managerial role leading and developing a team.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems such as Oracle SAP or Microsoft.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
