Quality Assurance Lead (Medical Devices)

Location: West Chester PA

About the Quality Assurance Lead role:

Join our client a global leader in surgical instruments and medical devices as a Quality Assurance Lead. Our client offers over 19000 patterns of precisioncrafted stainless steel surgical instruments including a comprehensive range of singleuse Class I and Class II devices. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance and quality control across the product lines focusing on delivering reliable and highquality solutions that meet the stringent standards of the medical industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance/quality control procedures and work instructions that impact the finished product.
  • Liaison with the sales purchasing and quality control teams to ensure customer satisfaction through appropriate processes.
  • Maintain supplier communication regarding nonconformances.
  • Understand and help the organization meet its Quality Policy and Objectives.

Tasks:

  • Develop and maintain proficiency in all required computer programs.
  • Investigate customer complaints determine root causes and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Maintain calibration of all measuring equipment.
  • Regularly communicate with the Quality Control Lead.
  • Review nonconformances with QC reps determine disposition and notify suppliers of any issues.
  • Manage repair estimates process orders inspect returned products and ensure proper functionality before shipping them back to customers.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in quality assurance within the medical device industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge of and experience adhering to ISO standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership communication presentation and training skills with the ability to work crossfunctionally.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
