Laundryman

Job Title: Laundryman

Key Responsibilities:

Collect sort and wash all crew and guest laundry according to company standards

Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washers dryers and ironing machines

Ensure all laundry is properly labeled and returned to the correct owner

Keep accurate records of all laundry requests and inventory levels

Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs for laundry equipment

Maintain a clean and organized laundry room at all times

Adhere to all health and safety regulations while handling and storing laundry chemicals

Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed including cleaning guest cabins and public areas.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience working in a laundry or housekeeping role preferably in a maritime or hospitality setting

Knowledge of laundry equipment and chemicals

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and timemanagement skills

Physically able to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for long periods of time

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
