Backend Engineer

We are working with a FinTech company and as part of their continued growth NodeFlair has been engaged to search for a Software Engineer (Backend Trading) to join their Malaysia team.

We are seeking an experienced engineer responsible for building and scaling a core trading platform that manages customer portfolios and integrates with banks brokers and fund managers. The system handles largescale transactions daily demanding high fault tolerance scalability and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop backend functionalities for new investment products using Kotlin Micronaut TypeScript and Temporal.
• Design and implement scalable faulttolerant solutions in a distributed environment.
• Write clean testable code and collaborate in an agile setting with crossfunctional teams.

Requirements:

• 2 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in building and maintaining distributed systems.
• Familiarity with agile CI/CD and testing practices.
• Experience with JVM languages (Kotlin Scala Java) is a plus; willingness to learn Kotlin and TypeScript is essential.
