Jaza is a solar energy startup working to power SubSaharan Africa. We build solarpowered shops which charge batteries customers use to power their homes. Since 2022 weve achieved over 3 million battery swaps providing approximately 225000 people access to clean affordable energy.

Job Objective:
We are offering a sixmonth internship for aspiring and passionate software developers with possibility of transitioning into fulltime position. This role is based in AlDua Tower Mikocheni Dar es Salaam Tanzania
Role and responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using HTML Tailwind CSS and Laravel.
- Contribute to Android app development using Kotlin.
- Support development with a focus on creating responsive userfriendly interfaces.
- Participate in testing debugging and optimizing code to ensure highquality performance.
- Communicate effectively with team members in a multicultural and multinational environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
knowledge of HTML Tailwind CSS and Laravel.
Familiarity with Kotlin and Android development is a plus.
Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
Fluent in English both written and spoken.
Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural team.
