Position Overview
As the Expert in Human Resources Management at Shkolo part of the Juniper Education Group this role will play a key role in supporting our employees across the company.
This role will work closely with the leadership team in Bulgaria and the HR team in the UK ensuring that all aspects of the employee journeyfrom recruitment to career developmentare handled with expertise and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and support to Line Managers and employees on recruitment payroll career development and general management.
- Ensure alignment of HR standards and processes with the wider Group adhering to Bulgarian labour laws.
- Study and analyze employee performance through interviews and surveys.
- Collaborate with department managers to create detailed job descriptions and clarify organizational structures.
- Implement and maintain administrative systems.
- Maintain accurate legally compliant records and ensure adherence to performance review processes.
- Manage compliance with employee health requirements including absence and sickness reporting.
- Research and book relevant training courses maintaining accurate records on employee training and development.
- Maintain and update payroll records ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Support internal communication and conflict resolution contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources (preferred).
- Excellent knowledge of Bulgarian Labour Code and relevant HR legislation.
- Strong digital skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken with a working level of English (B2 minimum).
Hard Requirements (MustHave)
- Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources ideally in an international environment.
- Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources (preferred).
- Proficiency in English: Minimum level B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
