Minutes to Seconds is looking for Project Manager in a Contract role in Canberra.

Requirements

The Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Water has a requirement for a Project Technical Officer to support the delivery of a major ICT project for the Australian Antarctic Division. As Project Technical Officer you will ensure that the technical support within a project during change management and transition of the project to Business as Usual (BAU) on project closure is delivered professionally. You will complete all project tasks to meet deadlines and deliver to the correct standard and quality.

As a Project Technical Officer you will be required to undertake some or all of the following:

1. Investigation and resolution of technical issues including logging diagnosis and resolution as appropriate under the direction of the project team.

2. Structured analysis and a creative approach to complex problem solving and resolution in complex projects to meet deadlines.

3. Identify appropriate documentation to apply as well as strong skills to identify and understand related implementation and also ensuring documentation is to the correct standard and quality.

4. Support of logistics and cargo preparation within the technical environment.

5. Support of Test and Train environments to support deployments and enhancements to systems.

6. Implementation of new infrastructure technology acquisitions software solutions and upgrades under the supervision of the project team.

7. Maintenance of inventories including Documentation Design Library Software Assets Hardware Assets Communication Systems Integration Interfaces etc.

8. Demonstrate sensitivity for ICT security requirements at all times.
