Piping Designer - AutoCAD Specialist

Piping Design and Drafting:

• Develop detailed piping design drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.
  
• Create 2D and 3D models of piping systems including pipe layouts supports and equipment.
  
• Prepare and modify piping layouts isometric drawings and installation details.
  
• Ensure that designs comply with project specifications industry codes and standards.
  

Coordination and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with engineers project managers and other team members to understand project requirements and constraints.
  
• Coordinate with structural mechanical and electrical disciplines to integrate piping systems with other components.
  
• Conduct design reviews and make revisions based on feedback from stakeholders.
  

Quality and Compliance:

• Review and ensure compliance with safety standards industry codes (e.g. ASME API) and regulations.
  
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between piping systems and other infrastructure elements.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of design changes and revisions.
  

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support and expertise during the construction and installation phases.
  
• Assist in the preparation of material takeoffs and procurement specifications.

• Associate s degree in Piping Design Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Bachelor s degree preferred.
  
• Proven experience as a Piping Designer or in a similar role with a strong background in AutoCAD.
  
• Experience in designing piping systems for industrial applications is highly desirable.
