Job Description
*Open to US citizens Green Card holders and sponsorship*
Locations: Vernon WI and Madison WI
Work setup: Hybrid
Headcounts: 2 headcounts each locations
As a Tax Manager you will prepare and file federal and state tax returns for businesses and individuals. Youll oversee staff provide tax planning advice and stay updated on tax laws.
Responsibilities:
- Manage staff preparing tax returns.
- Prepare and review tax returns.
- Offer tax planning and projections.
- Research tax issues and suggest improvements.
- Stay current on tax laws.
- Consult with clients and respond to inquiries.
- Build relationships with clients and industry contacts.
- Share knowledge and best practices with the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required.
- CPA nice to have EA Required (open to JD candidates)
- At least 8 full busy seasons worked in the tax profession helping to prepare and review individual and business tax returns.
