Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer with expertise in SQL and MongoDB to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our development team you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and users as well as developing serverside logic. Your primary focus will be on the development of all serverside logic ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend. Additionally your experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases will be crucial in defining and maintaining our data storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• ServerSide Development:
  Develop and maintain serverside applications using Node.js.
• API Design:
  Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
• Optimization:
  Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Security:
  Implement security and data protection measures.
• Database Management:
  Design and maintain database schemas for both SQL (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB) databases.
• Mentorship:
  Manage and mentor junior developers providing technical guidance and support.
• Continuous Learning:
  Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Educational Background:
  Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience:
  Minimum 4 years of experience in Node.js development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as Express.js.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and eventdriven architecture.
  • Experience with SQL databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB) and familiarity with their query languages.
  • Familiarity with ORM libraries (e.g. Sequelize Mongoose) for database interaction.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
