Commis Pastry Cruise Ships
Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing and baking a variety of desserts and pastries
Follow recipes and ensure all ingredients are measured accurately
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Assist with inventory and ordering of pastry supplies
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
Continuously strive to improve and innovate dessert offerings
Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a Commis Pastry or in a similar role preferred
Knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts
Ability to work well in a team environment
Willingness to learn and take direction from the Pastry Chef
Food safety and sanitation certification is a plus
