Salary: $64000 $82000 (depending on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cath Lab team in Las Cruces NM. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background particularly in cardiac catheterization and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a highly motivated individual who is capable of working in a fastpaced environment collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest quality of care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures including preprocedure preparation intraprocedure monitoring and postprocedure care.
- Collaborate with physicians technicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients vital signs administer medications and assist with interventions as necessary during Cath Lab procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures postoperative care and followup instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records including documentation of procedures and patient responses.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the Cath Lab.
- Assist in the maintenance and operation of Cath Lab equipment and ensure a sterile and safe environment.
- Provide support and mentorship to other nursing staff and team members as needed.
MustHaves:
- Education: Associates degree required; Graduate of a School of Nursing program. Bachelors degree and Masters degree preferred.
- Licensure: Current RN license in New Mexico or a compact state license required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Previous Cath Lab experience is required.
