The Role of the Electrical Technician

Main Accountabilities

Maintain involvement with major projects at the club sites.

Ensure all systems are maintained to a high standard.

Respond to the engineering element of the HVAC systems at the clubs sites.

Carry out IT infrastructure works in partnership with the clubs IT team.

Work effectively to schedules and respond to fault reports from club staff.

To submit works on a booking calendar/system and communicate all requirements to the relevant stakeholders with the agreed timelines and dates.

To act and be the appointed Electrician / Engineering onsite cover for all matchdays over multiple sites as required.

Deputise for the Technical Projects Manager if and when required.

Undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required. Significant permanent changes in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to this Job Description.

Person Specification Essential Characteristics

Previous electrical experience in stadium installation and maintenance projects.

Ability to work with management and the ability to communicate with staff and stakeholders at all levels.

Deliver a high standard of workmanship carried out in safe and professional manner

Demonstrate an excellent work ethic at all times.

Ability to work within a greater team and possess excellent problemsolving capabilities.

Excellent communication skills in all forms in person via phone and written communications

Ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to multiple skills.

Ability to work unsupervised.

A genuine team player with a collaborative working style and approach to problemsolving.

Flexible approach to working hours and the ability to work some unsociable hours as required.

Hold current andrelevant techical qualifications for the role.

Person Specification Desirable Characteristics

Competence and experience of working in a special events/ stadium environment from planning to delivery and closure.

Competence and experience of working with IT Heating HVAC ELV FA EM Ltg DALI Security and Standby Systems.

Adaptability to instal and maintain the numerous other systems relevant to a Premiership Football environment.

High level of numeracy and literacy
