Job Description

We are hiring for the position General Manager Service for a leading automobile dealership company in India.

Experience: 820 years

Location: Mumbai (onsite)

Ideal candidate:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with 820 years of experience within automobile industry in Mumbai to lead the service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service management excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

o Oversee daily operations of the service department including repair
maintenance and customer service.
o Ensure the department operates efficiently meets productivity goals and
adheres to service standards.

2. Team Leadership:

o Lead mentor and develop service team members including service advisors
technicians and support staff.
o Conduct regular performance evaluations provide training and foster a
positive work environment.

3. Customer Service Excellence:

o Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and
retention.
o Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and
professionally.

4. Financial Oversight:

o Manage the service department s budget including expenses labor costs and
parts inventory.
o Monitor and analyze financial performance including revenue profitability
and cost control.

5. Process Improvement:

o Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
to enhance efficiency and service quality.
o Ensure compliance with dealership policies manufacturer standards and
industry regulations.

6. Inventory and Resource Management:

o Oversee the management of parts and inventory to ensure availability and
minimize downtime.
o Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary parts and tools.

7. Sales and Marketing:

o Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote service specials
warranty programs and maintenance packages.
o Collaborate with the sales team to identify and address potential service
related sales opportunities.

8. Reporting and Analysis:

o Prepare and present regular reports on service department performance
including key metrics and operational results.
o Analyze data to identify trends issues and opportunities for growth and
improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree.

Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar role in automobile dealership.

(Minimum 23 years of experience in current role handling good volume of
aroundvehicles)

Strong knowledge of automotive service operations repair processes and customer
service practices.

Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills.

Proficient in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to make datadriven decisions and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced
environment.

The experienced professional with relevant experience should be currently living in Mumbai.
