Overview:
A law firm specializing in wills trusts and estates is actively recruiting a fulltime Paralegal with outstanding organizational and communication skills to join our Richmond office to assist attorneys by handling matters in Probate and Trust administration.
However the Paralegal will spend time working out of both offices. This position includes all areas of the estate law practice areas that do not require a law degree and often requires substantial client contact in the form of meetings phone calls and emails.
Key responsibilities:
The position requires excellent in time management both in personal workflow and in managing deadlines. In addition this position requires consistent and predictable performance patience the desire to help others (both clients and coworkers) impeccable listening skills and the ability to create and contribute to a
stable and harmonious work environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with estate administration probate and experience where the attorney was the fiduciary or trustee.
- The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in the area of probate or accounting or estate administration.
- A preferred candidate will have some experience in a law firm working as an estate administration paralegal or will have a paralegal certificate from a recognized paralegal training program or a fouryear degree from an accredited institution.
