Base Salary $110000 $% Bonus
Job Description: Our client is seeking a Tax Compliance Manager to join their tax team based in Morristown NJ. The tax team enjoys an excellent reputation across the organization and works closely with the controllership team as well as other core functions. As part of this small and friendly tax team you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and support the business in executing its strategic growth plans.
MustHaves:
- US federal & state income tax practical & technical tax expertise.
- 5 years of US GAAP income tax provisioning experience.
- Experience with SAP/HFM/Corptax/Alteryx (a plus).
Key Responsibilities:
- Review all federal proforma tax returns in Corptax and supporting workpapers.
- Timely review of all federal forms/attachments for filing of the federal consolidation.
- Efile the federal consolidated tax return.
- Review state and locality returns prepared by thirdparty resources.
- Review quarterly federal and state estimates and extensions.
- Manage and mentor an income tax associate.
- Investigate and resolve income tax notices.
- Assist with quarterly and annual US GAAP income tax provision.
- Review the company s income tax account reconciliations on a quarterly basis.
- Review federal booktax difference calculations.
- Review deferred tax asset/liability work papers and balances.
- Review state tax reporting workpapers.
- Assist with the documentation of applicable internal tax controls.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS in Taxation and/or CPA (a plus).
