Guidewire Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design develop and implement Guidewire applications
• Integrate Guidewire applications with existing systems and thirdparty services
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily standups and sprint reviews
• Write efficient maintainable and reusable code using Java and related technologies
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of issues to ensure the reliability of Guidewire systems
• Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and refine software requirements
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to conduct testing and ensure the quality of developed solutions
• Provide technical support and guidance during the deployment and postimplementation phases
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Guidewire technology
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Proven experience as a Guidewire Developer or similar role
• Proficiency in Guidewire ClaimCenter PolicyCenter or BillingCenter
• Strong expertise in Java J2EE and related frameworks
• Experience with SQL and database management systems
• Capability to work in Agile development environments
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
• Good understanding of insurance domain and Guidewire best practices
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with crossfunctional teams
• Dedication to staying updated with technology advancements and industry best practices
• Certification in Guidewire development or related technologies is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality solutions
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Effective time management and organizational skills
