Backend Engineer Python

• Design develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems to support our RESTful services.
• Write clean efficient and maintainable code primarily in Python.
• Implement and optimize database structures to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Ensure the security and integrity of backend systems by implementing best practices for data protection and user authentication.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and scale backend services in cloud environments.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Optimize backend code for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure alignment with coding standards.
• Stay updated with the latest backend development trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processes.

• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer with a strong focus on Python.
• Proficiency in designing building and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with backend frameworks and libraries such as SQLAlchemy Pydantic FastAPI and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Solid understanding of database design and optimization with experience using both relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problemsolving and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS; experience in ECS RDS Lambda SAM is a plus.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
