Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough patient consultations and medical examinations to diagnose heart conditions
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as ECGs echocardiograms and stress tests
• Developing personalized treatment plans for patients which may include medication management lifestyle modifications or surgical interventions
• Performing interventional procedures such as angioplasty and cardiac catheterization
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals including surgeons nurses and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Participating in clinical research and staying abreast of advancements in the field of cardiology
• Providing education and counseling to patients and their families on heart disease prevention and management
• Adhering to all relevant regulations and standards of practice in cardiology
• Maintaining accurate and uptodate medical records and documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (DM) or Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Cardiology
• Valid medical license to practice as a Cardiologist in Tamil Nadu
• Proven experience as a Cardiologist in a clinical setting
• Expertise in interpreting cardiac diagnostic tests and imaging studies
• Proficiency in performing interventional cardiology procedures
• Strong understanding of evidencebased practice in cardiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field
