Overview:
As the General Manager of Human Resources you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing all aspects of the HR function within the organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies to attract develop and retain top talent while fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Lead and manage the HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR services
- Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition processes to attract and retain highperforming employees
- Implement performance management and improvement systems
- Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies
- Manage employee relations including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration
- Ensure legal compliance throughout HR management
- Lead the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support in organizational development and change management initiatives
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement workforce planning and development strategies
- Represent the HR function in executive meetings and contribute to decisionmaking processes
- Prepare and manage the HR budget
- Monitor HR metrics to measure and improve HR performance
- Ensure a positive and inclusive work culture
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience as an HR leader or General Manager of HR
- Demonstrated expertise in HR strategy development and implementation
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
- Strategic mindset with excellent decisionmaking skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Proven track record of driving HR initiatives and fostering a positive work culture
- Relevant HR certifications or accreditations (e.g. SHRMSCP CIPD)
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
