Job description
Job Summary:
As a Reservation Executive you will be responsible for handling reservations and bookings for clients across various travel services including flights hotels and tours. You will be the primary point of contact for clients ensuring their travel arrangements are seamless and meet their specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Itinerary Planning: Create detailed and customized itineraries for clients ensuring all aspects of their travel including flights accommodations transportation and activities are wellcoordinated and aligned with their preferences and budgets.
- Costing and Quotation: Prepare accurate and competitive costings for travel packages taking into account all elements of the trip. Provide detailed quotations to clients clearly outlining all costs and services included.
- Reservations Management: Handle the booking of all travel services including flights hotels car rentals tours and excursions. Ensure that all reservations are confirmed and documented accurately in the system.
- File Operations Management: Oversee and manage the entire operational process for each client file from initial inquiry through to posttrip followup. This includes monitoring the status of bookings making adjustments as necessary and ensuring all client requests are met.
- Operations Coordination: Coordinate with various suppliers such as airlines hotels and local tour operators to ensure smooth operations of the clients travel plans. This includes resolving any issues that arise during the travel process and ensuring timely delivery of all services.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the booking process providing updates confirming details and addressing any concerns or changes in a timely manner.
- ProblemSolving and Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any operational challenges or issues that may arise whether before or during the clients travel ensuring minimal disruption to the clients experience.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel industry particularly in itinerary planning reservations and operations management.
- High level of accuracy in preparing itineraries costings and managing client files. Ability to handle complex itineraries with multiple components.
- Proficiency in using travel booking systems CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel for costing and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients suppliers and team members effectively.
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and resolve them quickly to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- A degree or diploma in Travel and Tourism Hospitality or a related field is preferred but relevant experience will also be considered.
