Job Description

Overview:

The telecaller plays a crucial role in our organization by being the primary point of contact with potential and existing customers. The interactions and engagements they have with clients significantly impact the companys reputation and business growth. They are responsible for driving sales promoting products or services and nurturing positive relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote products or services.
  • Follow up on leads and cold calls using a sales script.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide information about products or services.
  • Maintain and update customer databases with contact details and status information.
  • Meet daily and weekly targets for calls made and leads generated.
  • Listen to customer concerns and resolve their issues promptly.
  • Keep accurate records of calls and sales made.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure proper customer service.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and maintain awareness of company promotions.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys to improve services.
  • Report on call activities and results to management.
  • Adhere to communication protocols scripts and etiquette.
  • Utilize various communication channels including phone email and messaging platforms.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a telecaller or similar customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and phone etiquette.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent.
  • Strong listening and problemsolving skills.
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs CRM software and telephone systems.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management systems and practices.
  • Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work with targets and strict deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Adaptability and quick thinking in unexpected situations.
  • Previous experience in a sales or telemarketing environment is a plus.
  • Customercentric mindset and a strong sense of empathy.
