Freelancer IT Recruiter

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their IT staffing needs
• Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
• Screen IT resumes and job applications
• Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates
• Assess applicants relevant knowledge skill sets and experience
• Advertise job openings on social media company career pages and other platforms
• Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
• Build a strong IT candidate pipeline for future hiring needs
• Maintain regular communication with candidates and keep them informed of their application status
• Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
• Manage recruitmentrelated vendor relationships as needed
• Participate in IT job fairs and career events
• Collaborate with IT agencies universities and other organizations to source top IT talent
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations during the hiring process
• Provide regular updates to the management team regarding recruitment activities and candidate status

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration IT or a related field
• Proven work experience as an IT recruiter HR recruiter or similar role
• Demonstrated knowledge of IT skills roles and qualifications
• Experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone video inperson)
• Familiarity with HR databases applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment
• Proven track record of successfully meeting recruitment targets and deadlines
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to build and maintain professional networks
• Understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations
• Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g. PHR SHRMCP) is a plus
• Proficiency in using social media for recruiting (LinkedIn Facebook etc.)
