Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and assistance to employees in a chemical manufacturing facility
• Monitor and address health concerns and occupational hazards related to chemical exposure
• Develop and implement health and safety protocols to minimize chemicalrelated risks
• Conduct regular health inspections and assessments of employees exposed to chemicals
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Train and educate employees on chemical handling best practices and safety measures
• Participate in emergency response planning and lead medical interventions during chemicalrelated incidents
• Assist in the management and administration of medical facilities within the factory
• Conduct health awareness programs and workshops for chemical exposure prevention
• Keep detailed medical records and reports of chemicalrelated incidents and treatments
• Stay updated with the latest developments in chemical safety and occupational medicine
• Coordinate with external medical resources and emergency services when necessary
• Participate in the investigation of chemicalrelated accidents and provide medical input
• Advise on the selection and use of personal protective equipment for chemical exposure
• Conduct risk assessments and suggest improvements in chemical handling processes

Required Qualifications

• MBBS degree or equivalent medical qualification
• Valid medical license to practice
• Experience in occupational or industrial medicine preferred
• Strong understanding of chemical exposure risks and related health issues
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the chemical manufacturing industry
• Ability to provide emergency medical care and first aid treatment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Capability to work in a team and liaise with various departments
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records
• Understanding of emergency response protocols and procedures
• Familiarity with medical facility management and administration
• Proactive approach towards preventive healthcare and wellness programs
• Willingness to stay updated with advancements in chemical safety and health guidelines
• Ability to assess occupational health risks and recommend corrective measures
