Apigee Hybrid Engineer

• Apigee Hybrid Deployment: Design implement and manage Apigee Hybrid within AKS Kubernetes clusters to ensure efficient processing and management of API traffic.
• YAML Scripting: Write and maintain YAML scripts for configuring and deploying services within the Kubernetes environment ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Jenkins Integration: Develop and manage Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration including the generation of configuration files and automated deployment processes with Apigee.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of APIs ensuring high availability and scalability within the Kubernetes environment.
• Security Implementation: Implement security best practices in API management including authentication authorization and traffic management.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Apigee Hybrid and related infrastructure components within the AKS environment.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes configurations and best practices to ensure smooth operation and knowledge transfer.

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience working with Apigee Hybrid in a Kubernetes environment specifically with AKS.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Apigee Hybrid and its components.
• Proficiency in YAML scripting for Kubernetes configurations.
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD particularly in generating and managing configuration files.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes including deployment scaling and management of containerized applications.
• Familiarity with API management and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of security best practices in API management.
• ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document processes and explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

• Experience with other CI/CD tools and practices.
• Familiarity with other cloud services such as AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of additional scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
