Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and provide nonoperative and surgical management of patients with disorders of the brain spinal cord and peripheral nerves
• Perform surgical procedures using a variety of specialized instruments and techniques
• Conduct thorough clinical evaluations and order diagnostic tests such as MRIs CT scans and Xrays
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions and available treatment options
• Participate in research activities to advance the field of neurosurgery
• Manage patient care before during and after surgery
• Ensure compliance with medical and ethical standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurosurgical techniques and technology
• Provide mentorship and guidance to medical students residents and fellows
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the hospital
• Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately and timely
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Participate in oncall schedules to address emergency cases

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board certification in neurosurgery
• Valid state medical license in Bihar
• Fellowship training in neurosurgery
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in neurosurgery
• Proven track record of successful surgical outcomes
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
