Sr Software Developer - Java

Overview:

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and implement software solutions using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis system design coding testing and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews analyze and resolve technical issues and ensure code quality and best practices.
• Deploy and maintain applications in production environments ensuring scalability reliability and performance.
• Contribute to architectural and design discussions providing technical guidance and expertise.
• Optimize application performance identify potential bottlenecks and propose solutions for improvement.
• Stay uptodate with industry trends tools and technologies and leverage new developments to enhance software functionality.
• Collaborate with QA and support teams to address customer needs and provide technical support as required.
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (B.E. / B.Tech)or (PG in IT /CS or equivalent)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with a focus on Javabased technologies.
• Shall have Java SE certification or Spring professional certifications
• Must have experience of working in 6 major e Government projects
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum
• Proven expertise in Java programming Spring framework and Hibernate ORM.
• Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Proficiency in software development best practices including design patterns SOLID principles and clean code.
• Experience with web services RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Good understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript.
• Excellent problemsolving abilities analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with Agile methodologies continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the software development field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong commitment to quality excellence and continuous improvement in software development processes.
• Professional certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Sun Certified Java Developer (SCJD) are a plus.
