Overview

Key responsibilities

• Install maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints technical diagrams and schematics.
• Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers and identify potential issues.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring equipment and fixtures using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Perform preventive maintenance including cleaning lubricating and adjusting equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical problems in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with construction and maintenance teams to complete projects.
• Comply with all safety and quality standards and regulations.
• Document and report on completed jobs and any deficiencies or requirements for further action.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Required qualifications

• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience.
• Valid electrician license or certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems hand tools and power tools.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Understanding of electrical codes safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and safetyoriented mindset.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks requiring manual labor.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Flexibility to work in various environments including confined spaces and at heights.
• Ability to adapt to new technology and learn new skills in the electrical field.
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
