Java Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing developing and maintaining efficient reusable and reliable Java code
• Collaborating with team members to define design and ship new features
• Implementing best practices in software development and ensuring compliance with coding standards
• Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to design principles
• Debugging and resolving technical issues to improve the applications performance
• Integrating data storage solutions
• Participating in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging
• Working closely with business analysts and quality assurance teams to deliver highquality efficient and scalable software solutions
• Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Keeping uptodate with the latest industry trends and technology advancements
• Collaborating in a team environment with a willingness to learn and share knowledge
• Participating in Agile processes and methodologies
• Supporting continuous improvements by investigating alternative technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Participating in software estimation and planning activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Proven experience as a Java Developer or relevant position
• Strong knowledge of Java Spring and Hibernate frameworks
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies
• Solid understanding of objectoriented programming principles
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• Knowledge of web services REST and JSON
• Familiarity with continuous integration continuous deployment and DevOps practices
• Excellent problemsolving and criticalthinking skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
• Proactive mindset and a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Certifications in Java development or related technologies (optional)
