Position: Chief Information Officer (CIO) Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam
Our client one of Japan s largest general trading companies ( ) is seeking a visionary CIO to lead their IT initiatives in Vietnam. The company holds a stakes in one of Japan s leading convenience store groups and is rapidly expanding its presence in Vietnam currently operating over 180 stores across the country.
*Position Overview:*
As the new CIO you will play a critical role in shaping and driving the company s growth strategy in Vietnam. You will be responsible for building a strong local management team ideally composed of Vietnamese professionals. A deep understanding of Vietnam s culture particularly its business environment is essential for success in this role.
*Key Responsibilities:*
Lead the IT department to support and accelerate business expansion in Vietnam.
Build and mentor a highperforming management team.
Align technology initiatives with the company s business goals ensuring smooth and scalable operations.
Requirements

Proven experience in Clevel management ideally as a CIO.
Strong leadership and teambuilding experience.
Graduate from an international university.
Experience working with multinational companies.
Nativelevel proficiency in Vietnamese.
Businesslevel proficiency in English.
Not necessary Japanese Language.
The company is looking for someone who is committed to a longterm role. As a Japanese most expatriates currently rotate every three years but this position offers the opportunity for extended tenure.
